Mission Statement

MISSION STATEMENT
Christian Events Watch is an omnibus that specializes in the documentation of the life and times of anointed men of God and their churches, as well as their spiritual exploits in bringing generations to the presence of God.

According to the book of Exodus: 17:14, God said to Moses, "Write this as a memorial in the book and propound it in Joshua's ear.. Exodus 34:28: "And he proceeded to write upon the tablets the words of the convenant, the ten words. And Isaiah 30:8, "Word come, write it upon a tablet with them and inscribe it even in a book, that it may serve for a future days, for a witness to time indefinite."

These are the Bible verses that actually inspired us to conceptualise this special publication. We believe as Christians that we have the obligation to contribute towards the work of God being carried out by church leaders.

And the best way to make an impact is to go from time to time after men of God who are GENUINELY GREAT INSTRUMENTS OF GOD, THOSE WHO ARE CALLED GOD'S GENERALS and feature them for Christians, the world over to learn from their lives.

This, we assure is a task that we will achieve with your support and comprehension in Jesus name.

POLICE CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP

 Why Should I Pray 4 D Police

In every ideal society, the police is seen as a very important arm of the state machineries that are needed to bring a nation to the required level of greatness. For there to be absolute peace and tranquility the police force is first to be relied upon but unfortunately it is not as such in Nigeria, for an average Nigeria sees every member of the force as his or her enemy. If asked to take a stand on either to pray for the police or rain curses, many Nigerians, surely would go for the later.
It appears that those in the Force are also aware of this disposition towards them, hence a question that makes the cover in one of the Christian Police Fellowship (CPFN) tracks that “ Y should I pray 4D Police: You can read what you have below for you understanding.

Why Should I Pray 4 D Police
It’s indeed a million Naira question, considering the public perception of the police. But it’s a question that will bless your life, if you answer positively. Are you considering praying for the police. You may ask yourself if the Police actually need prayers. One is tempted to ask, how many Churches and men of God find time ot pray for the Police? Its is very necessary that they do.
The role of the Police is strategic and it cannot be undermined if any society must attain greatness. It is a fact that some people out of share hatred for the Police do curse them while others do not see anything good about the Police. Some are even indifferent, may be as a result of their experience with officers.

If you must curse the Police then be sure to be very righteous so that you will be justified to cast the first stone. (As when a harlot was brought to Jesus in Bible) Be reminded that the effect of curses is collective. It has a way of affecting everyone. It’s therefore necessary to change our attitude in this regard and begin to pray for the Police.

Why You Must Pray For Your Police
Many people are familiar with Jesus instruction to visit those in the prison. But are not mindful of God command in Romans 13, to honor, respect and pray for those in authority. One may see the need for a Prison Ministry, but may question the need for evangelism in the Police. Some may have concluded in their mind that Police Officers souls have been sold to the devil.
You may be interested to know that the first gentile to be converted to Christianity in the book of Acts 10 is a God fearing man named Cornelius. He is an Officer of the law, an arm bearer, a Security chief, and of course a Police Offier. Are you aware the scripture speaks favorably of a Roman centurion. The Lord was so amazed at his faith. He is an army officer a Chief local law enforcement agent of his days. Apostle Paul made it a point to share the good news of Jesus with the officers of his time, not minding the way he was being treated by them. Phillippians 1:12 and 13, Act 16:20-34.

Too many people see Police Officers as brutal, corrupt and wicked, they see them as people who do not need God nor deserving of God’s Kingdom. Let it be known that officers inhabit a world most people never know and can’t comprenend. They see things most people never see, most of which are bad, and some are horrific and very disgusting.

Most officers live a live of physical and emotional stress, a life of hurt, ambush and hatred. These burdens not withstanding, they are expected to be super human; expected to carry out extraordinary, dangerous and difficult tasks without excuse or default. Tell me if it is possible to carry out such a task without Jesus. If your answer is no, then get ready to pray for Police.

You may not be convinced believing that Police officers are employed and paid to do those task. Yes it is, but be informed that the pay cannot compensate for the risk and damages suffered by offices and their families, simply for protecting your life and properties. The Lord said that the greatest Love you can show is to give your life for your friend (John 15:3). Most officers will passionately give their life to protect the citizen. By this Police Officers are your friends even if you do not consider them to be your own friend.
You may not care or see anything good about them. You many not even see any reason why you should waste your precious time in praying for the Police-if your reason is because of an encounter. You are solicited today to remember the command of our Lord. He demanded of you to make disciple of all nations. Mark 15:16. The Police is inclusive.

As a believer, you are not allowed to hate. If your experience with the Police is your reason for not caring and invariably considering the Police as your worse enemy I advise you to keep faith in the word of the Lord that enjoyed you to love your enemy and pray for those that persecute you. Romans 12:4. Be reminded that God cares. Jesus died for the Police on the Cross. He wants Police Officers to walk the beat of eternal life. Be a partner with God, be a minister of Peace, intercede for peace and pray for the peace Officers the Peace Maker. Matthew 5:9 who eventually is the Police. Pray for your Police, because it’s the plan of God to safe this nation. Your prayer count now.
If you are not a believer and you are prompted to pray for the Police, you need to repent for your sins for the Bible says that the Prayer of a sinner is an abomination unto the Lord Proverb 15:8.

Confess your sins and surrender you life to Jesus. Pray this prayer-Heavenly Father, thank you for your salvation, Today, I confess my sins before you. Have mercy on me and forgive all my sins through the blood of Jesus your son. I open my heart unto you Lord Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior.

If you have sincerely prayed this prayer, believe that your sins have been forgiven. You are now a believer, a child of God. You can NOW pray for your POLICE.

Brief History of Christian Police Fellowship of Nigeria

The Nigeria Police Forec is today facing so many challenges that not ever the Federal Government can take care of the challenges with all the resources available to it. Not because the government is carefree but because it is only with God that all things are possible. This was aptly recognized by a group of officers in the Force. They also believe that as peace makers, the Police need the help of God for protection and guidance more than any other profession. In view of these facts, the officers on March 3, 2001 gathered somewhere in Ibadan, the largest city in West Africa and established a Christian Police Fellowship (CPFN) which today is relating with God for a change in the image of the force for good.

Relax and read the brief history of CPFN
In obedience to the diving prompting, on March 3, 2001, fourteen(14) Christian Police Officers of all ranks and four(4) pastors, gathered under a tree inside my official residence as the commissioner of Police Oyo State in Jericho GRA Ibadan to launch what is now known as the Christian Police Fellowship of Nigeria(CPFN). Almighty God, in the power of the Holy Ghost has expanded the fellowship from that small and humble beginning to almost all the State Commands in Nigeria today and beyond what anyone can ever imagine.

Many Police Chapels have since been built and more are still springing up in many locations to his glory. In the Force Headquarters Abuja, and the Annex in Lagos as well as in almost the twelve Zonal Command Headquarters and the thirty-six States, you can see policemen praying to Almighty God the maker of heaven and earth. Thanks be to the holy Ghost.

Also on March 21, 2001 as the CP Oyo State, I applied to the then Inspector General of Police for the establishment of Chaplaincy programme in the Nigeria Police like in the Armed Forces. I believe that as peace makers the police need the help of God for protection and guidance more than any other profession. The application was kept aside.

Again on Feb 25, 2003, as the AIG Zone 4 Makurdi, I wrote a reminder to the incumbent IGP, Mr. Tafa Balogun who referred it to Mr. Sunday G Ehindero, DIG Admin then, to look into the matter. But there was not positive result either.
At God’s appointed time, Mr. S.G. Ehindero became the inspector General Police. So in 2004, I met him and reminded him of the application which he was handling. To the glory of God, he wrote to the Federal Government and secured a formal approval of President Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR. Today we have two Police Chaplains functioning in the Police FHQ Abuja. I know the program will extend to the Zonal and State Commands in the near future with sustained prayers by those who have the burden to pray.

OUR VISION
To have Police Officers renewed in heart by the Holy Spirit so that they will have moral regeneration and possess the integrity of God to be able to shun corruption, injustice, and opprression, imbibe holiness and impact the criminal justice system for the transformation of Nigerian as well as the African continent.
As God hates injustice and the works of darkness, so must all Police Officers as social engineers, hate every form of oppression but zealous in maintaining peace, law and order with integrity and fear of God.

OUR MISSION
-To encourage all police officers and their families to have personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
-To obey Christ in proclaiming His Gospel on one on one, and establish prayer fellowhip in all Formations, commands, Divisions, Stations and Posts, especially where no Police Chapel exists.
-To help all the believers to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and to grow spiritually.
-To train and equip all the believers to fulfill the Great Commission; to minister salvation, healing, deliverance, and thereby meeting the spiritual needs of the Police Community.
-To demonstrate a relationship with God and concern for righteousness and integrity while on or off duty.
-To promote and foster the love of God amoung all personnel and their families both retired and on active service.
-To train and encourage ceaseless prayers for individual, family and corporate needs of the Police, through regular Bible studies, seminars outreaches and night vigils.
-To network with other Christian Bodies in and outside Nigeria such as: the FGBMFEL, PACKPAC, PFN, CAN, Federation of Christian Police Fellowships(FCPF), Military and Para-Military Fellowships, for our spiritual maturity and other benefits, and more for the expansion of the God’s Kingdom in Nigeria, Africa, and the world at large.
-To promote and foster fellowship of the Christian Police Officers in that Unity which is enjoyed by those who are Born Again by the Holy Spirit of God.
-To Prepare policeman and their families to make heaven.

For with God nothing shall be impossible, Luke 1:37; Amen!

SEEK THE FACE OF GOD TO FIGHT CRIME
……D.P.O. Advises Officers
Officers and men of the Nigerian Police have been charged to always seek the face of God in order to succeed in their attempt to rid the nation of crime. This brings to mind one of the scriptures in the book of Matthew 6:33 that “seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness, and all other things shall be added unto you.”

Giving the advice at a one-day conference held at the Itire Police Station (PCRC) Hall recently, the Divisional Traffic Officer, Superintendent of Police(SP) Bernard Ediagboiya who spoke on behalf of the Divisional Police Officer(DPO) Prince A.A. Oyekan(CSP). The theme of the conference was “Raising Godly police officers for Godly services.”

Pointing out that the work of policing was very tedious and risky, the DTO said “Hence we should always seek the face of God so as to succeed.” According to him, nothing can be achieved without God perfecting it.
Describing the theme of the conference as symbolic and thought provoking, the officer said he strongly believed that the battle of life was not for the strong but “when God is with us we will be able to deal with the cankerworms of kidnap and robbery, the way the Israelites dealt with the Philistines and the way David defeated Goliath.

INTERVIEWS

In a recent interview on his newly repacked and revised book entitled: “Power to Trouble Your Troubles” he commented on the topic: “The Devil’s Secret Uncovered” According to Rev. Eragbai, he included the particular topic in this new edition to expose satanic antics and showed how Christians can overcome them.

How does the devil worsen Christian Problems? The devil can introduce his unseen veil into the victim’s mind. When the spiritual eyes are veiled, one would not be able to find a solution to the problem no matter how close the solution is.

Secondly, the enemy can also use the power of stone to suppress his victim in the pit of troubles and also separate him from Godly association that can provoke heavenly intervention. He can steal the stone to prevent any form of escape. Another style of the devil, is to position satanic spies or demonic police to monitor and prevent the victim from fulfilling his destiny.

Advice:

In your Book, “Power to Trouble Your Trouble you taught readers how to overcome satanic veil. Now for those who are yet to get a copy of that book sir, Can you throw light on what you mean by “Satanic Veil ?

The Effects are:

When a business venture is satanically veiled; people who pass by such a venture won’t even know of its existence. Even, if a letter of introduction or business proposal is sent from such a venture to an organization that ought to call for their service, their letter may suddenly wings and disappear form the right table. All because of the veil.

Satan has brought many troubles into marriages through spiritual veils between the couples. But there is a power from heaven that can double your troubles on earth. Acts 1:8, says “But you shall receive power after the Holy Spirit has come upon you…..“ You can tear that veil, you can set that veil on fire, you can destroy every satanic veil and live a victorious Christian life.

This is what will happen to you as you practice the content of my book. “Power to Trouble your trouble.” Yes, the death of Jesus permitted the veil to tear, but there is something you must do; there is a way to position yourself for the blood of Jesus to arise and speak on your behalf and also stand to trouble your troubles. You will be under this divine positioning as you read ““Power to Your Troubles.“

Have you published other books other than the mentioned book?
1. Living Above the Law
2. Wisdom Capsule
3. War Against Satanic Manipulation.

Quotes From Rev. Ben Eragbai 1. “Every giant you defeat will attract gigantic reward”
2. “Before a going over, there is always a going through”
3. “ If you refuse to push, your problem will push you down”
4. “ Failure is never a failure until you accept it as failure”
5. “If you don’t realize the protection of God upon you, you may be running to people who are less protected than you for protection. Discover yourself.
6. Your decisions will lead you to your destination
7. “You can’t touch anyone’s life meaningfully until you have first received a touch from God”
8. “I may not know all the roads that lead to success in life, but I know that to be double minded is an Expressway to failure.”
9. A bend on the road is not the end of the road.
Yes, I have the following books are at my bookshop and other bookshops:
When there is a spiritual veil on someone’s life, he won’t be able to see or experience the good things of life. The people who ought to bless him or her won’t see him to bless.
I will start by quoting (Matthew 27:51). “And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in Twain from the top to bottom……“ A veil is any material that can successfully cover a thing or a person and prevent such from being seen or from being properly seen.
You must not allow any of these satanic fortification to intimidate or petrify you, because we have a better covenant and surer promises. God is too great to lie. Get ready for your victory even now!

MESSAGES

Oh God, Arise and Save our NationChristian Police Fellowship, Ikeja Command, Lagos State
Oh God, Arise and Save our Nation Says Mr. Marvel Akpoyibo Lagos State Commissioner of PoliceWith the love of his country radiating all over his heart, the Lagos State Police Commissioner, Mr. Marvel Akpoyibo has called for God’s intervention for the defense of Nigeria against her enemies.

This is one of the prayer points he offered at the end of his message “Be rooted in God which he delivered at the Christian Police Fellowship at the Command Headquarters in Ikeja recently.  He also wanted the hands of the “wicked ones” dragging back the progress of the country to be spiritually withered just as he asked God to do a new thing that would glorify the nation.

The police chief however noted that for new things to happen for the uplift of the country, Nigerians especially members of the Force should be rooted in God. To support his point, he made reference to the book of Psalm 92:13-14 which says “Those that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing.”
According to him, “if you are not rooted in God, you are rooted else where, but it is only those that are rooted in the house of the lord that will flourish, so you must be connected to God to flourish. Akpoyibo who was disturbed that many people today had been disconnected from God’s house were reminded that such people would sooner or later suffer for their actions.

“Once your root is not in God, your success will be temporary. It is like a tree that its tap root has been cut from its source, the leaves can only last for a day or more before they wither.

To flourish, he said was not to earn promotion or be connected to people in position of authority but to be deeply connected to God through prayers and deeds to fellow human beings adding that “it is then you will enjoy total success.”
Sharing a testimony of a man’s reward for his connection to God, the Lagos State Police boss, spoke of a man who was preaching in a commuter bus and another man in the bus got irritated by the message coming from the Christian and suddenly order that he, the Christian brother should stop preaching. According to the Police commissioner, the Christian brother did not heed the order and this further infuriated the man who headed for the drivers seat and asked him to bring the vehicle to a stop. As the driver halted his bus from moving Akpoyibo recounted how the man brought out an amulet to hit the Christian brother but in his bid to do so, his hand hanged in the air and he started shouting leave my hand! Leave my hand.”

In this development, other passengers in the bus were equally astonished. As his hand was hanging in the air, he called on the Christian brother to prevail on his God to release his hand. The brother however prayed for him and his hand came back to its normal position. Instantly, the evil man brought out all his charms which he burned on the spot and decided to follow the Christian brother on evangelism.” Akpoyibo added.  He said from the incident, the lesson one could learn was the fact that God would not fail anyone who is connected to him and such a person would be full of testimonies.

Concluding his sermon, the police prayed that God should take charge of the Nigerian Police Force and remove whatever the enemies might have done to disgrace the force he added.
Most Churches Are Not Grounded In The Message Of ChristProphet Chinonso AnieboOverseer, Elijah Faith Assembly (Lagos Church)

One important challenge facing many churches especially the end time gospel churches is that they are not grounded in the end time message of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Overseer Elijah Faith Assembly, Lagos, prophet Chinonso F. Aniebo bears his mind on this burning issues in a heart to heart interview during the 1st Anniversary convention of his church with Christian Events Watch.

Prophet Aniebo noted that they are dealing with people who are not grounded in the end time message, saying that many Christian orientations were still after signs and wonders. According to him, it is in view of this that this ministry is conducting different programs such as deliverance, prophesy, ministration of blessed water and holy ghost baptism and other activities like praises, thanksgiving, prayers and bible teaching.  Prophet Aniebo said that many Christians claimed they are in ‘the message’ this different assertion to him, had brought Christians among believers of the end-time message.

His words “Just as Judaism was divided into Various sects; Pharisees, saducees, scribes, Herodians, everyone of them has their own view about the coming of the promised Messiah.” “This is exactly how believers of the end time message have diverse views about the messenger of this age and his message. Prophet Aniebo noted that “the message of our Lord Jesus is not a new doctrine but a ‘message’ which had been there from the beginning, adding that the ‘message’ is all about loving one another.

Prophet Aniebo also talked about his calling and how it manifested in him before he started the ministry. ‘This calling of God upon me was from my mother’s womb. It was prophesied before I was born by a woman, a minister of God call sister Franca of Chirst Spiritual Mission Umunze in Orunba, South L.G.A., Anambra State.”

According to him, God’s calling on him started to manifest when he was an apprentice trader under one Mr. Samuel at Ladipo Main Market, Mushin, Lagos, when he began conducting afternoon prayers with brethren in the market and all night programme every Monday, titiled “Monday Night With Jesus” in the market.

Prophet Aniebo further explained that not satisfied with the program and the pressure mounted on him by the Holy Spirit’s call, left the market in search of a church where he could be guided properly by the word and servants of God, and at the end found a church called The Bride Assembly, Lagos at Kalejaiye, Mafoluku, Lagos.

Prophet Aniebo also told Christian Events Watch how he started his ministry and who gave him the name. “It started precisely on the 28th July, 2008. God gave me the name Elijah Faith Assembly.” According to him, the Ministry is a continuity of the message of Elijah.

Pastor Igbokwe Urges Christians to Allow Holy Spirit to Audit Them
“……For the Spirit searches all things, yea deep things of God” 1 Corinthians 2:10b. The Auditor
By Pastor Enyi Igbokwe

During a recent audit in my work place, I saw tension and fear amidst efforts being made to ensure an audit pass. And audit pass is very important especially for each individual in the unit as this determines a lot of things it can decide as far as your promotion and take home bonus. An audit is basically an official examination of the quality or standard of process. An auditor is a person who ensures that the set quality and standard of a place is maintained. He measures the performance of each staff and endures they live up to the expectations of the one paying them.

With the background above, I guess it makes a lot more sense when God says the Holy Spirit is an auditor. He ensures we live in the standard of Heaven’s kingdom without compromising our faith and destiny in God. He prompts us when we are about to miss it and alerts us to pending danger.

Let’s do a little reflection here. We set goals and targets of the things we want to achieve for God usually at the beginning of the year. We make plans, dwell on our God given aspirations and set things in place to achieve them. Sadly, how many of them do we actually. A lot of times, we are overwhelmed with the challenges life throws at us that we actually forget the reason for our existence. The reason that prompted us to make the decisions we made at the beginning of the year.
With all the emotional breakdown before God and determination to even do more than God expects from us in the beginning of the year, how many did we actually diligently work towards and achieve.

We need to like David in Psalm 51, search and tell ourselves the truth with the help of the Holy Spirit. What would be your paycheck and bonus if you were to be audited? Are we due for spiritual promotion? Good thing is, even if we have missed it at some point and do not qualify for an audit pass, mercy and grace can cry out for us in the place of justice.

The Holy Spirit is an auditor that we all must take seriously if we are to reach our destiny in life. It is simple to have an audit pass, read the rules of the kingdom embedded in the Bible, live accordingly, listen and obey his promptings so you won’t miss it. Invite him now if you don’t have him. Call him to audit you. He’ll surely bring out the best in you.
Measure, weigh and examine yourself, call the Holy Spirit to audit you. He’ll bring out the best in you. Blessings in Jesus name. Amen

FEATURED PASTORS

Rev. Ben Eragbai Assures Christians Victory as He Leads War Against Satanic Manipulation

In Our life challenges we face battles against principalities in the high places. As the Bible made clear in Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against pincipalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Almighty God always empowers his anointed ones in these struggles against the power of darkness. The anointed Rev. Ben Eragbai, the Senior Pastor of Divine Appointment Ministry(Upper Room) is one of the God’s Chosen Warriors Against Satanic Antics.

In Psalm 91:11-13: Belivers were told that God; “Shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” They shall bear they up in their hands, less thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under thy feet.

The book of Isaiah 60:12 says, “For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; year, those nations shall be utterly wasted.”
Also in MalachI 4:3: God siad that “Ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the foot of your feet, in the day that I shall do this said the Lord of host.

The assurance Rev. Eragbai always confirms to Christians has a base on the above Bible references which are being established to Christians through his preaching, evangelism and regular hosting of crusades tagged: “War Against Satanic Manipulation” held at National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos. This programme exposes the antics agenda of dark powers against Christians, educates, and releases prayers to liberate those in bondage of devil.

Reveals ways of discovering God’s Purpose for Your Life

Dr. Chima Emmanuel Okereke
The Elijah of our Time”
G.O. Global Success Ministries, (World Wide)

HOW DO THE WONDERS OF KNOWLEDGE BEGIN

The Bible says “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; but fools despise wisdom and instruction” Proverbs 1:7. It is when you are teachable and also when you are ready to learn, and when you go deeper in the word, that you will discover God’s purpose towards your life.

The mind of God towards you as a child of God is for you to have peace in your life and also prosper in all that you lay your hands to do, it is written “For I know the thoughts that I think towards you saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end” Jeremiah 29:11. God can not give you anything that is evil, for the blessings of God maketh rich and addeth no sorrow to it-Proverbs 10:22. His blessing is a continuous joy and that joy gives peace of mind-John 3:27.
Until you know the truth, you can never discover the purpose of God for you, it is the truth that can save you, and the bible says that the truth shall make you free-John 8:22.

Any Pastor that is using charms for the work of God will never have peace because he knows that one day it will expire, and when this happens that Pastor is bound to face shame and disgrace. It is only heavenly gifts that never expire-John 3:27.  Every earthly thing must surely expire one day and it is because that Pastor has never discovered the purpose of God for his life, that is why he will seek powers from the devil when he can ask of it in humility and God will give it to him without measure, because it is written “Ask and it shall be given you: seek and ye shall find” Matthew 7:7.

It is by hearing the word of God and by keeping to instruction that you will discover God’s purpose for your life, no wonder the bible says “He is in the way of life that keepth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth-Proverbs 10:17.

If you fail to achieve God’s purpose in your life, God will remove it from you and give it to another person, e.g. Esau sold his birth right to Jacob because of lack of knowledge-Genesis 25:24-34.

It is not God’s purpose that your birth right shall be taken away, but Esau failed because he wasn’t connected to God and was only thinking about the worldly things rather than the spiritual.  Some people discover the purpose of God towards their life by passing through trials. Joseph by suffering and passing through series of trials discovered the purpose of God for his life. Genesis 37;23-24. Genesis 39:19-20, eventually lifted. Genesis 41:39-43.

GOD CREATED ALL THINGS FOR A PURPOSE: (Proverbs 16:4)

God raised Pharaoh to be stubborn so that he can show forth his power for the world to know that he is the one and only God. Roman 9:17, and by raising Pharaoh, God wants to accomplish his purpose for the Israelites through him.
Devil can not stop God’s purpose for your life, as long as his purpose is for you to make it in life, you must surely make it in Jesus name. Amen.

Only trust in the Lord, study the word always so as to increase in your knowledge ability, as you do so no evil power can hinder your movement to the top. Isaiah 14:24, the bible said “The Lord of hosts hath sworn, saying, surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass”
My brother and my sister, hold unto God and lay all trust in him, always pray and read the word of God, so shall you discover God’s purpose for your life. Remain blessed. I Love you all in Jesus name. Amen and Amen.

D.K. Olukoya Urges Christians to Arise and fight for FREEDOM from….

EVIL HANDS WITHER
Dr. D.K. Olukoya. General Overseer., The Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries (World-wide)

The popular “POWER MUST CHANGE HANDS” programme commenced with praises to God and prayer for Almighty God to take absolute control.

The scripture of the program was taken from 1Kings 13:1-5, which reads “And behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the Lord unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense. And he cried against the altar in the word of the Lord, and said, O altar, thus said the Lord; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men’s bones shall be burn upon thee. And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the Lord hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes are upon it shall be poured out. And it came to pass, when King Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, say, Lay hold on him.

He blamed Christians for allowing native doctors to operate at will adding that “Some Christians are so fearful that even when they observe that a native doctor is living close to their place of residence, they will flee the area.” This wrong; it is the native doctor that has to run for you as true Christians, he emphasized.  “David asked powerful questions that surprised Goliath. And instead of running away from Goliath he decided to attack him, because he has faith in God,” the man of God pointed out.  Nothing that, any serious challenge any Christian is facing they should attach faith in God with it and they will overcome.

1Kings 20:13-14 says “And behold, there came a prophet unto Ahab king of Israel, saying “Thus saith the Lord, Hast thou seen all this great multitude? Behold, I will deliver it into thine hand this day; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord. And Ahab said, By whom? And he said, thus said the Lord, Even the young men of the princes of the provinces. Then he said, who shall order the battle? And he answered, thou.”

Speaking

Sharing a testimony to support this, he recalled the story of a brother who fell into the hands of ritualists in a bus. The fasting brother according to the General Overseer was taking to the shrine of the ritualists where he met another person in the same circumstance that the brother might be a problem to them.-they later decided to bury him alive. As they concluded they buried him and they left but in the night a great miracle recurred. The man who was buried suddenly resurrected and the grave opened and a strange being started directing him unto he got to MFM Prayer City.
on what he described as the Lord facts, Dr. Olukoya said it would cause God nothing to wither the hands of our enemies and to retrieve our glory from our enemies. He made reference to Kind Jeroboam whose hands withered. Now he said, were days when terrible and bad people were going deep into occultism to control others-adding that Christians would however have upper hands to stop their activities because God is around to back them up.
And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him. The altar also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the Lord.”

Pastor Enyi Igbokwe Encourages The Spirit of Entrepreneurship

THE HARVESTERS HOUSE
The Spirit of Entrepreneurship:A Look at Abraham By: Pastor Enyi Igbokwe
I am of firm belief in the fact that God’s word is relevant to the times in which we live. The stories of the time past, if mediated on long enough would provide rich nuggets of truth thaht woul serve as reliable guides on the journey of life. Our lives spring from god and through faithe, we further understand that the worlds in which we live were framed by God’s word so that the things which we see were NOT MADE by the things which do appear. In other words, the raves of the age that we are “crazy” about find their roots in God

One of such raves is the passion for entrepreneurship. The current understanding is that entrepreunueurship occurs when one steps out to start a business venture and become his own employer. Nice definition. However, that would be a limited definition of the word as it fails to embrace other aspects of our lives.

We will be taking a closer look at the life of Abraham to understand how he embodied the spirit of entrepreneurship. Before we go further, we need to understand that Abraham was an entrepreneur in every sense of the word. The book of Joshua Chapter 24 records that Abraham worshipped idols with his fathers on the other side of the river. From this, we understand that Abraham had no prior knowledge of God. All of a sudden, God bursts into the scene in Genesis 12 and tells Abraham to get out of a lifestyle he had always known. Abraham had no reference point to know who God was. He may have heard about Enoch and Noah but those were generations apart-so they were not close to home to convince him to step out of the familiar.
Entrepreneurship is a journey of faith. It is a journey that may not have all the facts and statistics together and yet it moves on notwithstanding the inadequacies. It is literally driven. It is not a wish. It is a call

God told him to move to a place “which he would show” him. The writer of Hebrews in retrospect captured it thus: By faith, Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out not knowing whether he went.
Now that’s what I call the spirit of entrepreneurship for even in our lives, there are a number of steps we may need to take without knowing the full details. Life is full of plenty stabs in the dark that would demand that if we must recognize our Lord on the water, we must step out of the boat and walk towards him notwithstanding the raging storms about us. In detail, we would tear apart the scripture quote above in order to glean a few things that may jumpstart our things on entrepreneurship. By no means is this exhaustive but these thoughts will help to create a framework for our embodiment of the spirit of entrepreneurship.

This is what our lives as Christians are.
By faith, Abraham, when he was called to go-one of the basic things that we need to learn about entrepreneurship is timing. If Microsoft windows had been introduced in the 10th century, it would have probably died a natural death because the first printing press was invented in the 14th century which laid the foundation for the computer age many years later. In fact, it was important that the typewriter fully lived out its usefulness as we may never have fully appreciated the need for the desktop computer which is making this write up of mine a delight-as I’m busy working away on my laptop on a Sunday afternoon. This underscores the importance of God’s timing as to the things he wants to accomplish in and through us. It is important to understand that a lot of us have inventions locked up in our spirits awaiting their time and hour. How do I know that?

Rev 9:15 “….and the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay a third part of men.”  Now these angels were prepared for a specific mission which was to slay a third part of men. However, not the specificity of their preparedness for an hour, day, month and year! When their time came they were loosed(released). Even so, we are being prepared for a time in our day too.

When that day comes, there will be a literal release that will usher us into our predestined purpose. The catch here is that timing is critical to these events. If we must embody the spirit of entrepreneurship, we must have this in mind.
By faith, Abraham, when he was called to go was a married man(though childless) and had a nephew he was taking care of. He also had a father and siblings that he was accountable for but when God’s call came, it was to Abraham alone. “The vision on our insides is usually bigger than it is in other people.” (Mike Murdock) Most times, the entrepreneurial music is a call to dance alone. Even the people close to you(in Abraham’s case-Sarah) may not hear it so it would be foolhardy to convene a committee to try and fulfill what is on your inside. Vox Populi is not necessary Vox Dei. On this basis we would have to look to God alone in order to flesh out the details of our individual commissions, be it banking, catering, soldering, public service, academia, media and church.

Even though, Abraham was called alone, his call would affect the people around him-Sarah, his wife and Lot, his cousin. They may not have necessarily understood the details but they saw the fruit. Even so, in our lives,
By faith, Abraham, when he was CALLED to go, gained a greater sense of understanding of the spirit of entrepreneurship, there is a need to understand the element of God’s call. What are you called to do? It is not just a case that everyone is involved in the sale of clothes that will cause you to dabble into it. What are you called to?

A call may not necessarily involve a burning bush experience, it could be a nudging, an inclination to a particular activity. Someone may find out that she finds herself enjoying the company of little children-could it be that you may be headed towards establishing a daycare nursery? Sometimes the call may not be naturally what you want to do. In fact, that is why it is a call. It is a command. It is an instruction to move closer to something and away from where you are(the familiar, your turf) or from other things. A call would entail a measure of consecration moving closer to something and away from other things which may be good in themselves but are not convenient and expedient to you.

In other words, the spirit of entrepreneurship entails a specific call. Your are not called to everything. You will only thin out. NO mater how much you may admire the likes of Christopher Kolade, Emeka Anyaoku, Frank Sinatra, Barack Obama, Nelson Mandela, you are not called to be them so you will end up making a mess of trying to be like them. What are you being DRAWN to? That would be the call.

More about the call, Terah, Abraham’s father tried to lead the party that Ur of the Chaldees. However, Genesis II records that when he got to the land of Haran, he dwelt there and later died. That teaches us two things. You die early when you take up a call that is not yours. In fact you will run on your stream alone and gas out along the way. In this case God did not call Terah, but Abram. However, Terah may have taken up the journey with his natural zeal which could not sustain the tenor of the call. Secondly, you delay yourself unduly when you try to get everyone’s vote in accompanying you to fulfill the call. In the case of Abraham, his father, Terah, took charge of the ship to Canaan and when they got to Haran, they dwelt there. Only God knows what could have made them well there, but along that same passage-we understand that they had gotten some souls in Haran.

In other words, they were getting some measure of fruit.
“By faith, Abraham, when he was called to go out in A PLACE WHICH HE SHOULD AFTER RECEIVE FOR AN INHERITANCE, obeyed; and he went out not knowing wither he went.”
The emboldened portion of the statement above state clearly two things:- There is a reward for entrepreneurship. The reward of entrepreneurship is not immediate. The writer of Hebrews states that it is a place which he (Abraham) should AFTER receive for an inheritance. The question would be: After what? After Abraham would have fulfilled the first instruction of going out into the place that was not immediately visible to his human eye. One of the things we must understand in the call of entrepreneurship is that the rewards may not come immediately. They take a while but they must surely come.During those times of waiting, our faith, obedience(to both the divine natural and national laws), and faithfulness(the spirit of stick-to-it-ive-ness) are being tested and when we pass, we move to the harvest stage. If we fail, we keep writing till we pass. It is pathetic that a lot of entrepreneurs don’t move beyond this stage.

“By faith, Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, OBEYED; AND HE WENT OUT KNOWING WITHER HE WENT.”  Someone once said that when God calls you he does not go into details. Let me clearly state that the call of God does not always mean you should become a pastor with a church. It includes many other things. It may mean a William Wilberforce becoming a member of the British Parliament and fulfilling his calling of moving for the abolishment of slave trade. It could be a George Friedrik Handel composing the “Hallelujah” that still gets all England standing whenever it is sung in a public arena. Some are called into banking, politics, music, entertainment, media etc.

If we must become entrepreneurs at heart, we must learn that the picture of the future is expansive. The vision is progressive and the scope is elastic. It does not all become immediately manifest initially but over time, in phases it becomes increasingly visible. We do not need to possess the full details of the direction, but we must move for that is the story of the entrepreneur. Otherwise, some of us may cop out if at this point, we fully grasp the enormity of the task ahead of us. The sheer size of it all may cause us to sing to
God-”Here I am, send someone else.”

By faith, Abraham, when he was called on GO. Every call of entrepreneurship involves an action on our part. It usually starts with a call to GO. The word evokes a lot of fear in us. The word go involves leaving where we are and what we are used to (the familiar) and taking a leap in the dark. The word “Go” is the difference between the dreamer and the doer. One wishes while the other acts. The only difference that wil happen to that lifelong dream will occur when we begin to act on it. It is a word that is full of life and action. This is a critical element of entrepreneurship. When this is in place, it is only a matter of time before the fruit of the call becomes manifest.

Beware of small successes that could detract from God’s purpose. Notwithstanding dwelling in Haran delayed God’s call which was only renewed on the death of Terah. we may need to work out the details of the call ALONE!We are spiritual entrepreneurs. Everyone that is born of the spirit is like the wind which blows where it listeth, you cannot tell where it is coming and where it is going.God never gave him a tangible token to enhance his faith, he only gave him promises. It might interest us to know that entrepreneurship occurs even in paid employment.

Christians Should Prepare For Heaven Not Heaven On Earth

 An exclusive interview
CEW: May we meet you Sir?
I am Pastor Festus I.K. Chukwuma from Ihiala local Government Area, Anambra State. I am the first child of my parents.
CEW: Why did you abandoned what you are doing to face a pastoral job?
I was called by God, trained and directed by God, like great men of God in the Bible Elijah, Elisha, Moses and Solomon. They did not attain formal training before God used them. So also my own call. God inspires and directs my decisions every time.
CEW: When did you start this ministry?
This ministry began in 2006 here, and to the glory of God the ministry has been a blessing to members through the power of Almighty God’s intervention. As you have witnessed testimonies of what God is doing with me. For now we have grown into many departments namely; mens department, women’s department, youth, fire squad, choir departments have a basic purpose of doing the work of God.
CEW: What is the vision of your ministry?

This ministry has the following visions:
1. World Wide Evangelism-Acts 4:33
2. Deliverance and Restoration
3. Heaven our hope
The above are our God-given vision. The Visions are further broken down into the following:

World Wide Evangelism
-To conquer sinners through preaching the word of God, and assuring them that Christ is the eternal saviour. Life without Christ ends up in Crisis.
-Deliverance in Obadiah 1:17 “But upon Mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.”
Freedom and Restoration:When deliverance is done restoration of lost glory is ascertain…Joel 2:25 “I will restore to you he years the locust hath eaten, the cankerworms, and the caterpillars and the palmer-worm, my great army which I sent among you.” Complete deliverance attracts restoration and living a righteous life and working for God prepares you for heaven says Pastor Festus I.K. Heaven:When God delivers and he restores and you remain in the Lord and work with Him, heaven is sure for you. Mt. 6:33”But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” Heaven is the hope of every Christian. ‘I don’t believe heaven on earth’ It is not scriptural. If there is heaven on earth Jesus would not have risen and gone to heaven. Mt.4:17 “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand. No man can go to God’s Kingdom with a physical body. Without death no heaven. Material possessions are not a prerequisite to going to heaven. Why did Jesus say it is hard for a rich man to go to heaven? That it is easy for a camel to pass through the needle’s eye than for a rich man to go to heaven.
CEW: Do you have challenges in casting out demons? The challenges are not different from what Steven, Elijah, Elisha passed through at their generations. I am only an instrument of God, “Any challenge God allows to come to me, he will provide solution.

CEW: What is Koboko Night that takes place in your ministry every last Friday of the month?Koboko Night is a special night God divides the Red Sea and pulls down the wall of Jericho, pull down people’s strongholds, break the curses of people. And put shame to the devils. He turns people’s poverty to riches. With the koboko at people’s hand, they use it to whip their problems, depending on how God directs them.
Christian Events Watch heard about Assurance Night:
1st Friday of every night, this service is basically for people under hard lock, disappointment, rise and fall problem and hatred without a cause. All these demonic plantations. People come with white handkerchief, to clean up all the sorrow of the past, irrespective of the duration of the problem and where it came from.
